Are you skipping grooming visits because it’s stressful to get your pet into the car, or are you just looking for a more personalized experience?  In-home grooming offers many of the perks of mobile grooming with a bit of a twist! In-home grooming offers a new level of low-stress care where the pet parent can not only be sure where their pet is being groomed, but also that their pet is in a safe and comfortable environment familiar to them. This is not only great for anxious or senior pets, but for animals that get over stimulated in new environments.

As a house call groomer, we set up in your home or temperature controlled garage to groom your dogs. Everything needed, including towels, is provided by us, excluding a water & power source. We are flexible on space, amenities, & location, we can work almost anywhere! So what happens at your pet’s appointment? Upon arrival, we will ask to see the previously discussed location for set up. We will then “set up shop”, which includes everything from the grooming table, to shampoos, brushes, forced air dryer, clippers, towels, etc. We will get everything set up before meeting your pet with our full attention.

After we’re set up and ready to groom, we will meet your dog and get to know them a bit, as well as you. While this may seem like we are simply petting your dog, we are also doing a hands-on inspection for any lumps, bumps, growths, wounds, tender spots, any other health concerns, etc. We do carry various treats that, with your consent, we like to offer them, since the fastest way to a dogs heart tends to be their tummy! Once we’ve gotten all the pleasantries out of the way, we will begin grooming your dog. To ensure that your dog is receiving the highest level of care, we take our time. Grooming appointments can last 1 to 3 hours, depending on the service and your dog’s individual needs, so please take this into consideration when making your appointments. To finish up, pets are spritzed with a lightly scented plant based cologne and bows/bandanas are added to complete your pet’s spa day with us.

Once you’ve had a chance to look your dog over and are satisfied, we will pack up, clean up and vacuum hair. We aim to leave everything in the same, or better, condition than when we started. However, because of the nature of dog hair, a 100% hair-free guarantee is not possible. After we’re all packed, loaded and ready to go, any health concerns will be discussed & recommendations on seeing a veterinarian, if needed, will be expressed. At this point, we can schedule a future appointment if you’d like to re-book with us. We often book weeks in advance so pre-booking is recommended to be assured a spot in your preferred time frame.

No two dogs are alike! They vary in size, coat type, conditions of their coat, age and temperament. Two Gents provides a customized grooming service that is designed to meet the unique needs of your dog and your personal preferences.
